Illinois High School Softball - Richland County sneaks past Hutsonville/Palestine

The Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) softball nipped the visiting Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers (Palestine, IL), 8-7 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Carmi-White County Bulldogs (Carmi, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, May 14. Richland County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 11-11 record after their 11-5 non-league win over Goreville (Goreville, IL).

The Tigers (14-8) will now prepare for their challenge against North Knox (Bicknell, IN). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, North Knox was nudged by Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN), 10-0, in a league challenge.
