The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY) and the host Maple Hill Wildcats (Castleton on Hudson, NY), observed Troy's softball team notch a victory over Maple Hill by a final score of 10-1.

The Flying Horses (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 2 Colonial bout with a 3-11 record. In their last bout, Mohonasen was routed by Catholic Central (Troy, NY), 5-2, in a league bout.

Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Watervliet Cannoneers (Watervliet, NY) in a Section 2 Patroon outing, on Wednesday, May 14. Maple Hill will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Cannoneers come into the outing with a 4-8 record after their 18-0 league loss to Chatham (Chatham, NY).
