Massachusetts High School Softball - Winthrop drops to Masconomet Regional

The Winthrop Vikings softball squad (Winthrop, MA), was routed 8-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Masconomet Regional Chieftains (Boxford, MA)

With the triumph, Masconomet Regional improves its record to 7-8 on the year. The Chieftains travel to Danvers (Danvers, MA) to face the Falcons in a Northeast- Dunn contest on Wednesday, May 14. The Falcons enter the contest with a record of 6-5.

The Vikings now hold a 4-11 record. They play next when they host Salem for a Northeast- Lynch contest on Thursday, May 15. Winthrop will face a Witches squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Saugus (Saugus, MA). The Witches record now stands at 3-8.
