Kentucky High School Softball - McCracken County sneaks past Trigg County

The McCracken County Mustangs softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Trigg County Wildcats to 4 in the Mustangs non-league win on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 28-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Livingston Central for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 15. McCracken County will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Meade County (Brandenburg, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 21-5.
With the loss, Trigg County moves to 18-13 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Madisonville-North Hopkins (Madisonville, KY) to confront the Maroons in a non-league battle on Thursday, May 15. The Maroons come into the battle with a record of 19-8. Madisonville-North Hopkins lost 12-2 in their recent non-league battle against Union County (Morganfield, KY)
