Perry Central Commodores (Leopold, IN) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Wood Memorial Trojans (Oakland City, IN), 11-6 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Perry Central upgrades its record to 9-8 on the year. The Commodores host Mitchell (Mitchell, IN) to play the Bluejackets in a Patoka Lake game on Thursday, May 15. The Bluejackets enter the game with a record of 4-11.

The Trojans now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to North Posey for a non-league game on Friday, May 16. Wood Memorial will play a Vikings squad coming off a 5-4 league loss to Boonville (Boonville, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 15-5.
