The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Polo Marcos (Polo, IL) and the visiting South Beloit Sobos (South Beloit, IL), observed Polo's softball team notch a victory over South Beloit by a final score of 12-4.

The Marcos (5-14) will now prepare for their bout against Milledgeville (Milledgeville, IL). The Missiles go into the NUIC South bout with a 12-8 record. In their last bout, Milledgeville was routed by Morrison (Morrison, IL), 7-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Sobos battle the Hiawatha Hawks (Kirkland, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 15. South Beloit will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 11-0 league loss to Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL).
