In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Shawano Community Hawks softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Winneconne Wolves.
The Hawks (10-8) will now prepare for their match against West De Pere (De Pere, WI). The Phantoms come into the Bay match with a 5-9 record.
In their next game, the Wolves battle the Kettle Moraine Lutheran Chargers (Jackson, WI) in a East Central match, on Thursday, May 15. Winneconne will attempt to better on its 13-4 season record. The Chargers come into the match with a 11-10 record after their 13-0 league win over Berlin (Berlin, WI).
