The Buckeye Central Bucks (New Washington, OH) baseball the visiting Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), 9-4 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
The Bucks now own a 5-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seneca East for a Northern 10 challenge on Friday, May 15. Buckeye Central will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Margaretta (Castalia, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 12-6.
With the defeat, Elgin drops to 10-11 on the year. The Comets host Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 15. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Fairbanks lost 11-5 in their recent league challenge against West Liberty-Salem (West Liberty, OH)
