In Wednesday's non-league bout, the Fairmont Firebirds (Kettering, OH) baseball squad the visiting Archbishop Alter Knights (Kettering, OH), by a tally of 10-7.

Next up, the Firebirds encounter the Troy Trojans (Troy, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, May 14. Fairmont will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 7-3 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Centerville (Centerville, OH).
