Independence Blue Devils (Independence, OH) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH), 19-3 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Independence upgrades its record to 13-3 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Medina (Medina, OH) to play the Bees in a non-league game on Friday, May 15. The Bees enter the game with a record of 17-6. Medina won 14-4 in their recent non-league game against West Holmes (Millersburg, OH)
The Skippers now own a 0-14 record.
