Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Belleville Buccaneers (Belleville, NJ) and the host Lodi Rams (Lodi, NJ), saw Belleville's baseball squad knock off Lodi by a count of 8-3.

Coming up next, the Buccaneers play the Verona Hillbillies (Verona, NJ) in a non-league match, on Monday, May 16. Belleville will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.

The Rams (6-14) will now prepare for their match against Pompton Lakes (Pompton Lakes, NJ). The Cardinals go into the North Jersey - Colonial A match with a 8-5 record.
