In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Black River Pirates baseball team scored a tight 6-1 victory over the New London Wildcats.
The Pirates (14-5) will now prepare for their game against Dalton (Dalton, OH). The Bulldogs go into the non-league game with a 9-10 record. In their last game, Dalton was overwhelmed by Strasburg-Franklin (Strasburg, OH), 2-1, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (4-16) will now prepare for their game against Wellington (Wellington, OH). The Dukes come into the non-league contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Wellington got by Loudonville (Loudonville, OH), 7-1, in a non-league contest.
