In Saturday's non-league game, the host Mason County Central Spartans baseball team scored a tight 5-2 victory over the Elk Rapids Elks.
The Spartans (17-7) will now prepare for their game against Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 0-2 record.
The Elks (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Harbor Springs (Harbor Springs, MI). The Rams go into the Lake Michigan game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Harbor Springs tipped Grayling (Grayling, MI), 14-0, in a league game.
