In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Thomas Dale Knights baseball team scored a tight 6-0 victory over the L.C. Bird Skyhawks.
The Knights (13-2) will now prepare for their game against Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA). The Cavaliers go into the non-league game with a 10-6 record.
The Skyhawks (3-14) will now prepare for their game against Meadowbrook (Richmond, VA). The Monarchs go into the non-league game with a 4-12 record. In their last game, Meadowbrook was overwhelmed by Hopewell (Hopewell, VA), 10-8, in a league game.
