The Napoleon Wildcats baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots to 5 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Wildcats (13-10) will now prepare for their match against Northview (Sylvania, OH). The Wildcats go into the Northern Lakes match with a 9-8 record. In their last match, Northview edged Springfield (Holland, OH), 8-2, in a league bout.
Next, the Patriots face the Paulding Panthers (Paulding, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 16. Patrick Henry will attempt to advance on its 9-10 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 9-9 record after their 7-5 league win over Hicksville (Hicksville, OH).
