In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Grayslake Central Rams volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Streamwood Sabres.
The Rams (19-12) will now prepare for their battle against North Chicago (North Chicago, IL). The Warhawks come into the Northern Lake County battle with a 0-9 record. In their last battle, North Chicago was edged by Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Sabres encounter the Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate 8 battle, on Tuesday, May 17. Streamwood will attempt to move on its 9-19 season record.
