Illinois High School Volleyball - Plainfield Central over Larkin

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) and the visiting Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), saw Plainfield Central's volleyball squad beat Larkin by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Plainfield Central upgrades its record to 5-24 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL) to play the Saxons in a non-league bout on Saturday, May 14. The Saxons go into the bout with a record of 9-20.

The Royals now own a 7-25 record. They play next when they travel to Streamwood for a Upstate 8 bout on Tuesday, May 17. Larkin will play a Sabres squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to West Chicago (West Chicago, IL). The Sabres record now stands at 9-20.
