Illinois High School Volleyball - Plainfield Central over Schaumburg

Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) in a Suburban Prarie match, on Tuesday, May 17. Plainfield Central will attempt to advance on its 5-24 season record. The Steelmen come into the match with a 3-30 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Auburn (Auburn, IL).

With the loss, Schaumburg drops to 10-23 on the campaign. The Saxons travel to Highland Park (Highland Park, IL) to battle the Giants in a non-league match on Saturday, May 14. The Giants come into the match with a record of 8-13. Highland Park won 2-1 in their recent non-league match against York (Elmhurst, IL)
