The Plainfield East Bengals volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Richards Bulldogs to 0 in the Bengals non-league victory on Saturday.

The Bengals now possess a 28-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Downers Grove North for a non-league game on Saturday, May 14. Plainfield East will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 18-12.

The Bulldogs (14-13) will now prepare for their game against Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 12-15 record. In their last game, Sandburg was dropped by Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
