In Saturday's non-league game, the host Jackson Polar Bears baseball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Mayfield Wildcats.
The Polar Bears (2-1) will now prepare for their game against St. Ignatius (Cleveland, OH). The Wildcats go into the non-league game with a 9-1 record. In their last game, St. Ignatius ran past Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH), 20-2, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (15-3) will now prepare for their game against Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 0-6 record. In their last game, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin was overwhelmed by Medina (Medina, OH), 3-2, in a non-league game.
