The Wheeler Warriors lacrosse team scored 20 points and held the visiting Westerly Bulldogs to 10 in the Warriors league win on Saturday.
The Warriors (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Middletown (Middletown, RI). The Islanders go into the State Championship Division game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Middletown prevailed over North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI), 19-12, in a league game.
The Bulldogs (0-10) will now prepare for their game against Barrington (Barrington, RI). The Eagles go into the State Championship Division game with a 8-1 record. In their last game, Barrington prevailed over South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 21-5, in a league game.
