The Hand Tigers lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the host Newtown Nighthawks to 3 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.
The Tigers (11-3) will now prepare for their game against Simsbury (Simsbury, CT). The Trojans go into the non-league game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, Simsbury prevailed over Xavier (Middletown, CT), 19-11, in a non-league game.
The Nighthawks (4-10) will now prepare for their game against Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Lancers go into the South West game with a 2-13 record. In their last game, Notre Dame Catholic was overwhelmed by Law (Milford, CT), 14-13, in a non-league game.
