Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL), 10-9 in a non-league test.
The Tigers now have a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Barrington for a non-league test on Wednesday, May 18. Wheaton-Warrenville South will face a Fillies/Broncos squad coming off a 17-3 non-league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL). The Fillies/Broncos record now stands at 8-10.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (Woodstock, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 17. St. Francis will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record. The Hurricanes come into the test with a 7-8 record after their 12-9 non-league win over Marmion (Aurora, IL).
