Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 22-2 record. They take the field next when they host Metea Valley for a DuPage Valley challenge on Monday, May 16. Naperville North will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Addison Trail falls to 17-6 on the campaign. The Blazers travel to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL) to face the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 16. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 7-11. Hinsdale Central lost 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Downers Grove North (Downers Grove, IL)
