The Bristol Central Rams (Bristol, CT) softball routed the visiting Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT), 8-0 in Saturday's league bout.
The Rams (15-2) will now prepare for their bout against South Windsor (South Windsor, CT). The Bobcats go into the non-league bout with a 4-11 record. In their last bout, South Windsor was routed by Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT), 12-0, in a league bout.
The Blue Dragons now possess a 4-12 record. They play next when they travel to Simsbury for a non-league bout on Monday, May 16. Middletown will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Southington (Southington, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 9-7.
