Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cardinal Mooney Cardinals (Youngstown, OH), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 20-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Branch for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 17. Poland Seminary will face a Warriors squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to South Range (Canfield, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Cardinal Mooney moves to 4-8 on the season. The Cardinals travel to South Range (Canfield, OH) to face the Raiders in a non-league match on Tuesday, May 17. The Raiders go into the match with a record of 20-7. South Range won 6-2 in their recent non-league match against West Branch (Beloit, OH)
