The Hermon Hawks softball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Caribou Vikings to 1 in the Hawks league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Hermon moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Hawks travel to John Bapst Memorial (Bangor, ME) to clash with the Crusaders in a Class B North game on Wednesday, May 18. The Crusaders come into the game with a record of 6-6. John Bapst Memorial lost 4-3 in their recent league game against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME)

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Fort Kent Warriors (Fort Kent, ME) in a non-league game, on Thursday, May 19. Caribou will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record.
