In Saturday's non-league outing, the host Lexington Minutemen softball team scored a close 8-5 win over the Chelmsford Lions.

Coming up next, the Minutemen battle the Bedford Buccaneers (Bedford, MA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, May 16. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Buccaneers enter the outing with a 7-1 record after their 18-12 non-league win over Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA).
