The Granby Memorial Bears softball team (Granby, CT), was routed 12-4 in Saturday's non-league test with the visiting Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT)

Coming up next, the Panthers encounter the Joel Barlow Falcons (Redding, CT) in a Southwest - Patriot test, on Monday, May 16. Pomperaug will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 4-13 record after their 18-2 non-league win over Harding (Bridgeport, CT).

The Bears (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Bolton (Bolton, CT). The Bulldogs come into the North Central Connecticut test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Bolton overcame Stafford (Stafford Springs, CT), 5-4, in a league test.
