Hermiston Bulldogs (Hermiston, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to University for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 18. Hermiston will battle a Titans squad coming off a 13-0 non-league win over Ferris (Spokane, WA). The Titans record now stands at 18-3.

With the loss, Mead falls to 14-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Ferris (Spokane, WA) to battle the Saxons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 18. The Saxons enter the challenge with a record of 12-9. Ferris lost 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against University (Spokane, WA)
