The McHenry Warriors (McHenry, IL) softball routed the host Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL), 13-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Warriors (19-7) will now prepare for their bout against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies go into the non-league challenge with a 14-9 record. In their last challenge, Harlem defeated Rockford East (Rockford, IL), 14-0, in a league challenge.

With the loss, Hononegah falls to 20-3 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Rockford East (Rockford, IL) to face the E-Rabs in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 challenge on Monday, May 16. The E-Rabs enter the challenge with a record of 1-21. Rockford East lost 14-0 in their recent league challenge against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL)
