The Pike Red Devils softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Indianapolis Shortridge Blue Devils to 5 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Pike moves its record to 2-16 on the year. The Red Devils host Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league game on Wednesday, May 18. The Hornets come into the game with a record of 10-11. Beech Grove won 9-5 in their recent non-league game against Eastern (Pekin, IN)

In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the Liberty Christian Lions (Anderson, IN) in a Pioneer game, on Tuesday, May 17. Indianapolis Shortridge will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Lions come into the game with a 7-10 record after their 15-8 league win over Park Tudor (Indianapolis, IN).
