The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Madison-Grant Argylls (Fairmount, IN) and the visiting Sheridan Blackhawks (Sheridan, IN), saw Madison-Grant's softball squad achieve victory over Sheridan by a count of 17-0.

The Argylls now sport a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blackford for a Central Indiana match on Monday, May 16. Madison-Grant will face a Bruins squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Mississinewa (Gas City, IN). The Bruins record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Sheridan falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN) to face the Huskies in a non-league match on Monday, May 16. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 7-12. Hamilton Heights won 4-1 in their recent league match against Rensselaer Central (Rensselaer, IN)
