In Saturday's non-league contest, the Mount Greylock Regional Mounties (Williamstown, MA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Mohawk Trail Regional Warriors (Buckland, MA), by a margin of 17-8.

With the triumph, Mount Greylock Regional moves its record to 9-5 on the year. The Mounties host Taconic (Pittsfield, MA) to play the Braves in a Berkshire County contest on Sunday, May 15. The Braves come into the contest with a record of 3-8. Taconic lost 8-0 in their recent league contest against Wahconah Regional (Dalton, MA)

In their next game, the Warriors play the Franklin County Tech Eagles (Turners Falls, MA) in a PVIAC - Franklin East contest, on Monday, May 16. Mohawk Trail Regional will attempt to move on its 3-8 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 15-1 record after their 21-3 non-league win over Hampden Charter School of Science (Chicopee, MA).
