With the win, Thornton Academy upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Trojans travel to Sanford (Sanford, ME) to battle the Spartans in a Class A South test on Thursday, May 16. The Spartans enter the battle with a record of 9-2. Sanford won 1-0 in their recent league battle against Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME)

The Stags now possess a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they host Noble for a Class A South battle on Thursday, May 16. Cheverus will play a Knights squad coming off a 9-2 league loss to Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME). The Knights record now stands at 4-8.
