The Marshall Hilltoppers baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Grand Rapids Thunderhawks to 4 in the Hilltoppers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Hilltoppers (10-2) will now prepare for their match against Hermantown (Hermantown, MN). The Hawks go into the Lake Superior match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Hermantown was overwhelmed by Superior (Superior, WI), 4-2, in a non-league match.

The Thunderhawks (8-7) will now prepare for their match against Proctor (Proctor, MN). The Rails go into the non-league match with a 8-5 record. In their last match, Proctor was overwhelmed by Denfeld (Duluth, MN), 3-2, in a league match.
