The Pinecrest Patriots the visiting Laney Buccaneers baseball team by a count of 6-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 24-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ashley for a non-league bout on Friday, May 17. Pinecrest will face a Screaming Eagle team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Screaming Eagle record now stands at 23-3.
