With the win, Maple River upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Eagles host Medford (Medford, MN) to battle the Tigers in a Gopher test on Thursday, May 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 0-14. Medford lost 5-0 in their recent league test against New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN)

With the defeat, Waseca falls to 2-14 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, MN) to battle the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, May 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 12-5.
