Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Towanda gets by Sayre

Towanda Black Knights (Towanda, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Sayre Redskins (Sayre, PA), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Towanda upgrades its record to 6-12 on the season. The Black Knights travel to Wellsboro (Wellsboro, PA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Wednesday, May 15. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 7-11. Wellsboro won 8-7 in their recent league test against Northeast Bradford (Rome, PA)

With the defeat, Sayre falls to 5-10 on the season.
