Inter-City Baptist Chargers (Allen Park, MI) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Academy of the Americas (Detroit, MI), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Chargers confront the Genesee Christian Soldiers (Burton, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, May 16. Inter-City Baptist will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Soldiers enter the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Calvary Baptist Academy (Midland, MI).
The now have a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pontiac for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 21.
