In Tuesday's non-league contest, the McDonell Central Macks (Chippewa Falls, WI) softball team held off the host Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks (Baldwin, WI), by a margin of 5-4.
With the triumph, McDonell Central moves its record to 18-2 on the year.
In their next game, the Blackhawks play the Mondovi Buffaloes (Mondovi, WI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, May 16. Baldwin-Woodville will attempt to move on its 10-10 season record. The Buffaloes come into the contest with a 12-9 record after their 10-5 non-league loss to Pepin/Alma (Pepin, WI).
