The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) and the visiting Sullivan West Bulldogs (Lake Huntington, NY), saw Beacon's softball squad nip Sullivan West by a count of 13-6.

The Bulldogs now sport a 6-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Washingtonville for a Orange County Division III match on Wednesday, May 15. Beacon will face a Wizards squad coming off a 12-4 non-league loss to Wallkill (Wallkill, NY). The Wizards record now stands at 2-15.

With the loss, Sullivan West falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Livingston Manor (Livingston Manor, NY) to face the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, May 16. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 1-9. Livingston Manor lost 11-1 in their recent league match against Eldred (Eldred, NY)
