Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now own a 21-3 record. They take the field next when they host Marlington for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 16. Canfield will face a Dukes squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH). The Dukes record now stands at 20-5.
With the loss, Kenston falls to 13-14 on the campaign.
