The Cougars now own a 13-16 record. They take the field next when they host Carmel for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, May 15. Vernon Hills will battle a Corsairs squad coming off a 11-4 non-league win over Zion-Benton (Zion, IL). The Corsairs record now stands at 11-14.

With the loss, Cary-Grove falls to 9-18 on the campaign. The Trojans host Libertyville (Libertyville, IL) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 16. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 13-15. Libertyville lost 11-8 in their recent league challenge against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL)
