In Tuesday's league contest, the Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN) softball team held off the visiting Chisago Lakes Area Wildcats (Lindstrom, MN), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Monticello moves its record to 7-11 on the year. The Magic travel to St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN) to play the Crusaders in a non-league contest on Thursday, May 16. The Crusaders come into the contest with a record of 27-7.
