Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the South Park Eagles (South Park, PA) and the visiting Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA), witnessed South Park's softball squad tip Deer Lakes by a count of 1-0.
The Eagles now sport a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Central Valley for a non-league match on Thursday, May 16. South Park will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, Deer Lakes moves to 8-5 on the season.
