The Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars (Hinckley, MN) softball routed the host McGregor Mercuries (McGregor, MN), 24-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Jaguars (10-6) will now prepare for their bout against Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN). The Huskies go into the Great River bout with a 11-7 record. In their last bout, Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] toppled Pine City (Pine City, MN), 15-2, in a league bout.
The Mercuries now possess a 1-11 record. They play next when they host South Ridge for a non-league bout on Thursday, May 16. McGregor will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 14-4.
