The Washington Warriors (Sioux Falls, SD) softball routed the visiting Mitchell Kernels (Mitchell, SD), 13-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Warriors (13-3) will now prepare for their bout against Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD). The Cobblers go into the Class AA bout with a 0-17 record. In their last bout, Rapid City Central was routed by Spearfish (Spearfish, SD), 13-10, in a league bout.
The Kernels now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Spearfish for a Class AA bout on Friday, May 17. Mitchell will confront a Spartans squad coming off a 13-10 league win over Rapid City Central (Rapid City, SD). The Spartans record now stands at 4-14.
