Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Winamac Warriors (Winamac, IN) and the visiting Triton Trojans (Bourbon, IN), witnessed Winamac's softball squad prevail over Triton by a count of 17-1.

The Warriors now sport a 15-7 record. They play next when they travel to Culver Community for a Hoosier North match on Thursday, May 16. Winamac will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Triton moves to 4-13 on the season. The Trojans host Caston (Fulton, IN) to meet the Comets in a Hoosier North match on Thursday, May 16. The Comets go into the match with a record of 16-4. Caston won 11-0 in their recent non-league match against Tippecanoe Valley (Akron, IN)
