The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Centennial Cougars (Circle Pines, MN) and the visiting Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN), saw Centennial's baseball team gain a win over Minneapolis Southwest by a tally of 7-0.
The Cougars (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against White Bear Lake (White Bear Lake, MN). The Bears enter the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, White Bear Lake held off Park (Cottage Grove, MN), 8-4, in a league battle.
Next, the Lakers face the Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 20. Minneapolis Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 8-10 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Park Center/Columbia Heights/Maranatha (Brooklyn Park, MN).
